PicoSearch has a new and powerful hit highlighting feature with frame navigation, so first you should read the FAQ on hit highlighting, especially the section about Frames and Link Targeting.
So now if you're still reading here, you understand that in the rare case that your site's links need help in breaking out of the highlighter frame, PicoSearch has a special frame busting solution. This requires a small file to be hosted on your site at the top level of your searchable domain(s). This file is called by the hit highlighter when it senses that the user has changed the page they are viewing in the bottom frame of the highlighter. The hit highlighter cannot by itself "pop the frame" (replace the frameset with the new URL) because of the security restrictions of the browser. One domain cannot touch another domain's frame (otherwise bad guys could mess with your cookies). All PicoSearch can do is load the frame buster file from your domain, which can then move the URL in the same domain up to the top level. Easy, right!
To get this file, right click on this link and choose to save the link as "picosearch_frame_buster.html". Then, to let PicoSearch's hit highlighter know that you're ready to use this file, set the mode_frame_buster_installed=1 in your highlighter's customizations.
